Etuen (ee-TWEN) comes from Ituen, an Ibibio word from southeastern Nigeria for a bird known for one trait above all: though smaller than the birds around it, it chases down the bigger ones anyway. We spell it Etuen for clearer pronunciation, the meaning stays exactly the same.
